McLaren has been a Chelmsford resident for 46 years.   He has sent 3 children through the Chelmsford schools and has been a library volunteer since 2004.   McLaren has worked as Public Relations and Marketing Communications manager at Digital Equipment Corp., Compaq Computer and Hewlett-Packard Company.  He is a former consultant for IBM and a former reporter for the Boston Herald.  As a 46 year resident McLaren has watched the town grow and change. He will be a diligent and conscientious town representative.
