Mildred Pacheco, 94

Mildred A. Pacheco, 94, a resident of Chelmsford and former longtime Andover resident, died Sunday, December 22, 2013 at Greenbriar in Nashua, NH.  She was the wife of the late Eugene N. Pacheco. 

She was born in Methuen on February 21, 1919, and was a daughter of the late William and Agnes (Collinson) Cook. 

Prior to her retirement, Mildred was employed for over 25 years as the manager of the Curtain Shoppe.

She was a DeMolay mother and was an avid reader.  She also enjoyed wintering in Myrtle Beach, SC.

She is survived by a son, David Pacheco and his wife Ann of Hudson, NH; a daughter, Barbara Porter and her husband Leighton of Hilton Head, SC; eight grandchildren, Brian Porter and his wife Janet, Elizabeth Dondero and her husband Scott, Robin Pacheco, Jane Stewart and her husband Victor, Jason Porter and his wife Suzie, Jennifer Porter, David Pacheco, and Jeffrey Pacheco; eight great grandchildren, Lauren Porter, Colin Porter, Kate Stewart, Morgan Dondero, Trevor Stewart, Madison Dondero, Brooke Porter, and Brooke Dondero; a brother-in-law; and many sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews.

She was also the sister of the late Norman Cook, William Cook, John Cook, James Cook, and Ronald Cook.

It being her wish, there will be no visitation and services will be private.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
