Longtime Chelmsford Resident Was Active Member of St. Mary Parish
Doris J. Nicosia, 88, was employed at Superior Automotive Warehouse in Allston.

Doris J. (Pensa) Nicosia, 88, a longtime resident of Chelmsford, died at her home on June 29, 2014. She was the beloved wife of the late James A. Nicosia, Sr. who died in 2006.
She was born on February 25, 1926 and was raised in Somerville.
Doris was employed at Superior Automotive Warehouse in Allston for many years. She was a parishioner of St. Mary Parish in Chelmsford.
Survivors include her three children; James A. Nicosia, Jr. of Chelmsford, Ronald Nicosia and his wife Lorraine of Chelmsford, and Karen Zanni and her husband David of Dover, NH, four grandchildren; Ray Gomez, Nicole Gomez, Alexandra Zanni, and Thomas Zanni; two great-grandchildren; Aidan Gomez and Layla Gomez, two sisters; Norma Costa of Arlington and Thelma Veronelli of Somerville, and many nieces and nephews.
