Chelmsford resident Donald Douglas Burns died at the age of 87 on Thursday, Nov. 28 after a battle with cancer.
Born in Lowell, he served in the Army during World War II, later owning Minuteman Publications.
After his retirement, he worked at AJ's Variety Store in Chelmsford.
