Today was a good day sprinkled with some puked to keep me on my toes...literally!
Rachel's IV is out and she is taking her pain medication by mouth. Thankfully they didn't disconnect the IV from her hand because she has gotten sick a couple of times. They will give her fluids at night to keep her hydrated.

She also had a very busy day!!! It started with a visit from her dad who brought air heads! Then Uncle Nick came with a bunch of Claire's ponies and headbands and nail polish and Starbucks for mommy. Rachel painted Uncle Nick's fingers (pretty sure she is the only one that can get away with that)! The Skolnick family with Dominick Flores came by after the color run. They brought a color run t-shirt and some tattoos for Rachel. Then Karen & Random Solomon came with slap bracelets. They made Rachel, I mean Shellbe (I was told that is how she spells it) a scarf and Shellbe and Random painted.
The physical therapist came in for a visit and we played some words games while SHELLBE SAT UP!! We distracted her with spelling dirty words like fart, boob, poop, penis, hooligan etc. Lots if laughter was had. The PT Amanda=Miranda said we were the funniest patients ever! Of course we are!!!

Rachel/Shellbe is doing so well!!! I am really excited.
Trying to get moved to our own room...figure if we can't have puppies we should have our own room.
