Support Janet Askenburg for Chelmsford Board of Selectmen

Please support Janet Askenburg for the Chelmsford Board of Selectmen by giving her your vote on Tuesday April 2nd. Mike Kowalyk Chelmsford

I am writing this letter to encourage you to consider voting for Janet Askenburg for Chelmsford Selectman on Tuesday, April 2nd.  I have had the pleasure of working with Janet Askenburg on the Chelmsford Economic Development Commission, where she served as Vice Chairman.  Janet is a knowledgeable, experienced, and committed professional who cares deeply about Chelmsford.  Janet is a strong accountable leader, who continually demonstrates the ability to make sound, strategic decisions.

Janet has served as chairman of the Chelmsford School Committee for the last two consecutive years.  During her time on the School Committee she has been instrumental in establishing a five year strategic plan for the Chelmsford School District that has provided a clear roadmap to excellence for our schools.  Under her watch, the district conducted efficiency audits and established partnerships that delivered over $1 million dollars in savings, which were strategically reinvested into our schools.  Janet’s fiscally responsible approach has served Chelmsford schools well during the most difficult financial period in our state since the Great Depression.

Janet is a tireless advocate for residents, and has the courage and determination to make difficult decisions in the best interests taxpayers.  She is trustworthy, compassionate, experienced, and knowledgeable.  Please support Janet Askenburg for the Chelmsford Board of Selectmen by giving her your vote on Tuesday April 2nd.
