Town of Chelmsford Wins Community Action Award
The award was given on Wednesday night for the town's updated website.
The Town of Chelmsford was honored in Wednesday night in Dracut as a "communication innovator" in Community Teamwork Incorporated's 2013 Community Action Awards presentation.
According to the group, the award is designed to shine a spotlight on people and organization blending traditional media and new technologies to "stregthen community conversations and build open information access for all."
"The town is honored to receive this recognition," said Town Manager Paul Cohen, who cited additional praise to Town Manager's assistant Patricia Dzuris and Selectman Pat Wotjas for their roles in earning the award, which was specifically given for updates to the town website.
