Partygoers Paint "Paws-itively" Perfect Pictures

This Saturday, 9/21  Markus and Leslie Antidote is hosting a mural painting party to benefit the Chelmsford Dog Park.  Each partygoer will paint their own canvas, which will be grouped together with up to 36 other paintings, to form one large "woof-tastic" masterpiece.  The completed mural will be displayed at the Chelmsford Library to raise awareness of the local dog park.

The party includes appetizers provided by Chelmsford's Fish Bones.  The menu includes mini crab cakes, shrimp cocktail, and bacon wrapped scallops.  Yum!! Complimentary teas, h2o, and coffee will be served.

Art Detox parties are a time to de-stress, detoxify your mind from the troubles of real life! Meet fun people, freestyle paint or be lightly guided through a group project. Enjoy sipping on herbal teas, coffees, and snack on delicious appetizers while you paint! We paint together for two hours, then take a fun group picture.

The party will be held at Markus and Leslie Antidote gallery at 37 Central Square, Chelmsford on Saturday, 9/21 at 7pm.

Tickets are $40 per person and can be purchased here.  A portion of the proceeds of this fabulous fundraiser will go to the CDA fund for the dog park!

If you have any questions please leave a comment on this post, or send Markus and Leslie an email.

The Chelmsford Dog Association has been actively working for a grant award that will fund 80% of the design costs, and 90% of the construction costs for the park. The CDA has worked tirelessly over the last few years, and has most of the required funding for the balance of the project. Another $5,000.00, and we can maximize the grant for $250,000.00!

If anyone else has a fundraising idea, please e-mail me at cda@chelmsforddogassociation.org-we'd love to hear from you!

For anyone that would like to donate to the park, please make checks payable to "Town of Chelmsford", and put "dog park" in the memo. Checks can be mailed or dropped off at the Town Manager's Office, 50 Billerica Rd., Chelmsford, Ma 01824.
