Calling all dancers, dance teams, coaches and captains! Are you interested in auditioning for a professional dance or cheering team? If so, this workshop is for you!
Workshop Information:
- Date: Sunday, March 30
- Time: 11:00am – 2:00pm
- Location: Centerstage Dance Academy: 3 Industrial Way, Tyngsboro, MA
- Cost: $50.00 per dancer
- Instructor: Patricia Fox, former New England Patriots Cheerleading Captain
- Ages: High School Seniors and anyone ages 17 and up
- Deadline to Register: Tuesday, March 25
During the workshop you will work on the dance technique, skills and stretching that you will need to execute during any audition. This includes splits, high kicks, across the floor combinations, solo choreography, freestyle movements and various types of dance and cheer choreography. Additionally, this workshop will provide you with tips for your audition appearance including hair, make-up and attire. Resume development, headshot examples and other inside information about the interview and/or swimsuit components of an audition will also be included.

About Your Instructor: Patricia Fox is a former member and Captain of the New England Patriots Cheerleaders. Selected as "Cheerleader of the Year", Patricia represented the Patriots Cheerleaders at the 2013 NFL ProBowl in Hawaii. Patricia danced professionally for the New England Patriots for three years. Before becoming a Patriots Cheerleader, she danced competitively at the collegiate level for the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She was the UMass Dance Team’s captain in 2009 until she graduated college in 2010. Patricia continues to fulfill her love of dance by teaching at Centerstage Dance Academy during the week.
