Introduction to Interior Design (Course #604)

Designing a room in your home? Learn the basic principles of Interior Design that can be applied to any room in your home. These principles include: how to create a floor plan with simple techniques, gaining knowledge of the color wheel and applying it to your personal space, choosing a color palette, furniture arrangement, flooring choices, how to shop for accessories, easy and functional window treatments, and how to make the most of what you have and incorporate it into your new room. Students should bring a notebook and pen or pencil.
