The Oak Hill Study Committee, convened to discuss possible usage of 66-acres of town-owned land in North Chelmsford, is holding a public input session on
Thursday, November 15 at 7:00 p.m. The session will take place at Chelmsford Town Hall, 50 Billerica Road, Room 204.
The committee has spent close to a year meeting with abutters and neighbors, stakeholders, and multiple town departments such as the Department of Public Works, Chelmsford Police and Fire, Conservation Commission, and legal counsel. Although every meeting has been open to the public, Thursday's session is designed specifically to give the general public the opportunity to voice any
concerns or offer suggestions for the Oak Hill parcel.
The Oak Hill Study Committee decided earlier this year to recommend the land be designated "open space for conservation," meaning that the land cannot be developed. Their official recommendation will be made to the Board of Selectmen once all public input is considered.
