The story doesn’t end on Christmas Day. Join us for a special presentation of Gian Carlo Menotti’s beloved opera, “Amahl and the Night Visitors,” at Aldersgate United Methodist Church on January 11, 12, and 13. A production of Carey & Henderson Vocal Studios in Nashua, NH, the cast includes students from the studio and the combined choirs of St. Kathryn’s Roman Catholic Church in Hudson, NH, and Aldersgate. Adam Lavoie, a vocal student and member of Aldersgate, stars as the young crippled boy, Amahl, who has his own special gift to offer the Christ Child.
Performances of the show are at 7:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 3:00 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is $15 for adults and $12 for children, students, and seniors. Tickets are available at the door or in advance by contacting Joni Lavoie at (978)256-1718 or amahlinfo@comcast.net.
