Drawing I (Course #602)

Learn the basics of drawing. See how form and shading make your pictures look realistic and three-dimensional. Students will be taught an exciting technique, using four basic shapes. From the shapes, at least two finished pictures will be created. Students will be responsible for supplies/materials, which will include turpenoid (clear not yellow), drawing pencils (2B, 4B and 6B), colored pencils (Berol, Prismacolor preferred—do not choose "Verithin"), 11x14 sketchpad (spiral bound is best, smooth surface) and erasers (kneaded rubber and hard rubber). This class is a great opportunity to explore and express your creative side!

This course is $76.
Tuesdays, 6:30–8:30 PM.
10 weeks starting March 4.
