Chelmsford All Town Wind Ensemble Concert

The Chelmsford All Town Wind Ensemble (ATWE) invites you to a free musical performance on Tuesday, December 10th  from 7 - 7:45 PM at the Chelmsford Performing Arts Center, 200 Richardson Road, North Chelmsford, MA. This concert is featuring students from Parker and McCarthy Middle Schools and Chelmsford High School. Music to be performed: Jungle Dance by Brian Balmages, The Alamo March by Karl L. King (arr. Swearingen), Cumberland Cross by Carl Strommen, and The Great Locomotive Chase by Robert W. Smith.  The music directors are Sean Wright and Allison Lacasse.

ATWE is the most unique instrumental ensemble in the district, as it features volunteer student musicians from both middle schools and the high school. The philosophy of the ensemble is to challenge the group with music of high artistic merit and create a fun and interactive musical experience in the process. ATWE meets after school for one rehearsal each week. In April, ATWE will compete in the Massachusetts Instrumental and Choral Conductors Association (MICCA) concert festival competition for the first time.
