Basketball League Grades 1-12

CHELMSFORD SUMMER BASKETBALL LEAGUE
 GRADES 1-8 (based on 2013/2014 school year)

• Time: 5:00 pm–8:30 pm
• Tuition: $85.00 per child, Max per family $195.00.
• After Thursday, June 12th at 3:00PM a  $15.00 late fee applies per child. Late entrants may be placed on a waiting list.
• Location: Chelmsford High School outdoor courts, with the possibility of other outdoor courts in town.
• Game Season: Season runs from July 7–August 14.
• Rained
  out games may be made up, if time allows; and there is a possibility of
  rained out games being played on Friday nights.            .
• Tournaments: Start date August 18th (Tentative).
• Days: Sunday through Thursday

 Coaches
will contact team members during the first week of July. There may be a
practice held before the season starts for the younger grades. However,
all grade divisions could go right to games without practice. 
Grade 1 8 games will be played Sunday through Thursday nights at the
outdoor courts at CHS, with the possibility of other outdoor courts in
town. Each team plays two games per week. Games will start at 5:00 pm
(Sunday nights only), 6:00 pm and 7:00 pm.  Expected
divisions (there will be separate divisions for boys and girls): based
on the grade the players completed in June 2014. Example: players who
complete Grades 1 or 2 in June 2014 will be placed in Division Grades
1-2. The divisions are: Grades 1-2, Grades 3-4, Grades 5- 6, and Grades 7
8.  Requests (coaches, teammates) will be considered but not guaranteed,
as the first priority is to make a best effort to balance ability
amongst teams. Individual requests regarding nights or times that games
will be played cannot be accommodated.  If you
have children in the same division and would like them to be placed on
the same team, please indicate that on the online registration form on
the Child Information Page under "Request."  The
purpose of the league is to build sportsmanship and confidence while
providing an organized team experience to learn and enjoy the game of
basketball. All coaches are instructed that players should receive equal
playing time. It is understood that children will miss games because of
other commitments (vacation, other sports, etc.).  HIGH SCHOOL
Ages: Grades 9-12 (For students who just completed grades 9 12)
