April Play-cation 2014

 Create your artistic masterpiece, explore the
outdoors, and get out and play at April Play-Cation 2014! Lowell
Play-Cation brings free family fun to local families during Massachusetts
school vacation week, April 19-26, 2014. Following
the success of this year’s Lowell Kids Week in February, several of the partner
organizations will again be offering activities during April Vacation. The
complete schedule of events will be available at http://lowellkidsweek.org/april-vacation/.
All programs are free, but some require pre-registration, so please plan ahead.



 April
Play-Cation offers over thirty free programs. There’s something for everyone, from
toddlers to teenagers!




  • Ready
    to get outdoors?
     Take a nature walk with the Lowell Parks
    and Conservation Trust and trolley rides at Lowell National Historical
    Park. Finish off the week with all sorts of healthy outdoor fun at the LoWellness
    Festival on April 26!

  • Want
    to get crafty?
     Get creative with fiber art at the American Textile History Museum, and join our historical hat party at Lowell National Historical Park!

  • Musically
    inclined?
     Learn to DJ and enjoy performances by special guest
    musicians from UMass Lowell!

  • Enthusiastic
    about engineering?
    Challenge yourself with Legos at the Pollard
    Library and waterpower at Tsongas Industrial History Center.
