More than 48 hours after the October snowstorm hit the area and knocked out power to 80% of Chelmsford,
There has been progress over the past two days. Parts of East Chelmsford got power back Monday afternoon, but there are still thousands without power in town.
National Grid hopes to restore power to more homes on Tuesday and Wednesday and restore the whole town on Thursday.
