Very unprofessional. Wanted to use a local contractor for a smaller plaster job. We dealt with mark the whole time. In the beginning they were great but totally screwed the job up. They did not inform us that the finished dimension of their plaster work would not correlate with the existing dimensions leaving us with windows and door jambs protruding from the finished surface 1/4 inch. Also trowel snipe was prevent all over the walls. I have experience in million dollar renovations in concord and Carlisle and know what a good finished plaster should be. It should be smooth as glass. Minimal imperfections. Their job was wavy, full of imperfections and utterly disappointing. To the point where I was convinced that they were coming back to put a final skim coat on ( wishful thinking ) when I called him back to address the issue he told me to caulk in the casing ( 1/4 gap!!!!) and that the paint would fill the imperfections. If I wanted that I would have called in some second rate drywall crew. I wanted a rock solid plaster. Duh. He then informed me he would come back himself and fix the screw ups. After calling multiple times to set up a date and time and never hearing from him again our job is a week behind and mark a quick 1000 bucks richer. Don't waste your time. Call a professional instead.
