Renovations on Old Stop & Shop Plaza Expected to Begin on Nov. 15

We'll have more information as it becomes available.

Although there is still work left to be done, anyone going down Boston Road or Summer Street will begin to see some changes soon.

According to Adam Winstanley of Winstanley Enterprises, renovations of the old Stop & Shop Plaza on Boston Road across from the library are expected to begin on Nov. 15

While Winstanley declined to reveal the names of any incoming tenants, he did tell Chelmsford Patch that two leases for approximately 22,000 sq. ft of the plaza are close to being finalized and an announcement will be made once four leases have been finalized.

Once completed, the new shopping center expects to host several restaurants, retail shops and a fitness center client, with renovation costs of the building and surrounding area expected to cost $4.5 million.
