Chelmsford's Brooks Automation Expects to Cut 100 Jobs

The Elizabeth Drive-based company has shrunk its workforce by approximately six percent.

On the heels of poor third quarter revenue earnings, the Boston Herald reports that Chelmsford's Brooks Automation will lay off about 100 employees according to a recent filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The final layoffs were lower than the possible 150 jobs planned to be eliminated after the inital revenue announcement in September.
