Chelmsford CVS Sale to Help Fund Plaza Construction

The CVS on Boston Road near Chelmsford Town Center was recently sold for about $4.3 million.

In order to fund the ongoing construction at the plaza that formerly included Marshalls and Stop & Shop, the owner of the Boston Road land recent sold the portion of the property that includes CVS for about $4.3 million.

Developer Winstanley Enterprises bought the entire lot for $7.6 million, and is in the midst of a renovation that will cost a minimum of $5.4 million, according to a report in the Lowell Sun

The newspaper reported that the sale of CVS will also include the lease to the pharmacy. Construction on the plaza is slated to be completed this summer, with several new businesses opening their doors in July.
