Chelmsford Baker Puts 'Heart and Soul' Into Her Recipes
Sarah Shanahan is the hard working baker behind the Humble Crumb Bakery.
If you stop by Humble Crumb Bakery during the Chelmsford Farmers Market, you may taste a little something different in your baked goods.
"When someone has taken the time to develop a small business, they've really put their heart and soul into it," said Shanahan, whose business is the latest subject of Patch's Farmers Market vendor spotlight series. "In terms of the food, you can taste the difference."
The Chelmsford Farmers Market opens every Thursday from 2-6:30 p.m. on Town Common, and features a wide variety of vendors with a passion for local products like Shanahan.
The baker said there is no better feeling than watching a customer take their first bite of her product, seeing her hard work pay off right in front of her.
"It's the best job you can have," said Shanahan.
