September Fundraiser to Support Marathon Survivor and Rescuer

Boston Marathon bombing survivor, and Chelmsford resident, Jeff Bauman continues his recovery after he lost both of his legs in the tragic April events. In September, his family is running a fundraiser to help pay for his medical bills.

“We want the world to know he is a fighter,” said his aunt Jennifer Maybury. “We’re going to overcome this.”

Youths in Chelmsford and Beyond Set to Flock to Weekend 4-H Fair

In a preview for a weekend event, we caught up with Beth Dubrawski, the president and business manager for the Middlesex County 4-H Fair.

“Our goal is to make sure the kids have a great weekend exhibiting all of their entries, whether it be a plant they’ve grown or a horse they ride,” said Dubrawski. “So the best part is to see all of these kids come to the fair, have fun, and be excited at the prospect of showing off their entries and winning prizes. That’s what the fair is all about.”
