Nearly 800 People Without Power Near Groton Road

National Grid is reporting approximately 5,000 customers without power in New England and Northern New York.

National Grid is reporting that as of 7 p.m. on Monday, power was lost by nearly 800 homes on Groton Road in North Chelmsford and parts of Nabnasset. 

Approximately 5,000 customers remain without power in New England. 

As of 8:45 p.m. on Monday, the assessment of power restoration has not yet been ascertained, according to National Grid's power outage website. 

National Grid reports approximately 30 customers without power in Westford, as well as less than five customers without power nearby in Tyngsborough and Tewksbury. 

UPDATE - As of 10 p.m., power has been restored in the impacted areas near Groton Road.
