Wilmington residents have been hungry for information on the opening date of the newly renovated Royal Dynasty restaurant, which will be renamed Pacific Grove. According to the business’ owner, it will be worth the wait. Victor Hui and his wife, May, have run into some delays in construction in fixing their Lowell Street restaurant, but said on Tuesday that they are hopeful to open Pacific Grove’s doors around New Year.

Spinners Pizza Parlor, 195 Andover St., has been a fixture in the Ballardvale neighborhood for 18 years. Although primarily known for their pizza, calzones, subs, dinner plates, soups and salads, they have also had an extensive catering menu for the past 5 years. Darlene DiCesare owns the restaurant with her son Eric and daughter Alexandria. She said everything they serve down to the sauce, meatballs, soup and Syrian bread is homemade and made to order.

Thyme Japanese Cuisine in North Andover (pictured) has been open for only eight months, but it has quickly found a home as one of the town’s favorite places to eat sushi. "Sushi and the Hibachi food are the most popular," said Irene Li of Thyme. The sushi bar has a few items that you may not find at all Japanese restaurants. First of all the Ee-Dako, baby octopus, makes a great appetizer at only five dollars. Tako Su is another popular octopus dish that is marinated in a flavorful vinegar sauce. That dish costs only six dollars.

Little did he know that his hobby would turn into a new business here in Westford. Open this month at Cornerstone Square, Ziethlow has turned his passion into a new franchise for Vintner’s Circle, the first of his three planned Massachusetts locations for the do-it-yourself wine making shop.
