Reason for running: I have a 3-year-old cousin who is battling a very tough battle with AT/RT which is a very uncommon for of brain cancer found in young children. Watching her family go thru this difficult battle has been eye opening to me.

They are very fortunate given their circumstances to have a very supportive core of friends and family willing to help in any possible way needed. While watching them go through this I began thinking about other families that may not have financial/emotional support that are in very similar situations.

That made me want to step up and help out. That being said I joined Team Joe Andruzzi to help raise money for families with children battling cancer. I could not have found a better foundation to get hooked up with as it epitomizes the exact cause I was looking to help out.  You can find more information on my link above.
