Center School and Local Restaurants Shine at 14th Taste of Chelmsford

The 14th annual Taste of Chelmsford was held at the Radisson Hotel on Monday night.

The 14th annual Taste of Chelmsford was a resounding success for the Center Elementary School, local restaurants, and hungry ticket holders of the popular event.

The event was held on Monday night at the Radisson Hotel in Chelmsford. Twenty-three businesses participated.

“We raise money for the Center School PTO enrichment fund,” said Taste of Chelmsford chairman Jeff Robinson. “It sponsors and funds a wide range of wonderful, educational, fun programs for our children."

Throughout the night, patrons had the opportunity to sample some of the area’s finest delicacies.

“For $25 you get to eat food from 23 different venues,” Robinson noted. “Unfortunately working the event, I probably won’t get to eat much!"

Robinson was sure to point out one of the many businesses he was happy to see in the building.

“I’m a big barbecue guy,” Robinson revealed. “We got some real, pit smoked, authentic barbecue from Lester’s which I’ve had and I know people are going to love it."

“I would recommend trying a little bit of everything,” he concluded.

Other businesses included The Meat House, Yoong Tong, One Ten Grill, Bianco’s Catering, Harrington Wine and Liquors, Sal’s, Catering by PJ, Bertucci’s, British Beer Company, Lester’s, Burtons, Sweet Enough, Keyks, Trader Joe’s, Zesty’s, Hibbert Hill Grill, Sichuan Palace, Stop & Shop, Rufina’s, and more.

Raffles and silent auctions took place throughout the evening in addition to the delicious festivities.

The Chelmsford Music Academy provided a talented pianist to set the mood in the Radisson’s conference room.

“It’s our largest fundraiser, and it’s great because the entire town supports it,” Robinson concluded.
