NEW WOMEN'S PROFESSIONAL NETWORK GROWING FROM SUBURBAN COMMUNITY BASE

LOCAL SUBURBAN ATTORNEYS AMONG FOUNDERS

BURLINGTON, MA—Boston’s suburbs are proving to be useful places for professional women seeking to grow their business networks.

The recently-formed Suburban Professional Women’s Network (SPWNetwork) hosted an event on March 13 in Burlington that focused on advancing women as corporate leaders. The keynote speaker was Ilene Fischer, CEO and founder of WomenLEAD, Inc., a new company that encourages women to attain their full potential in the workplace.

Over 40 professional women from real estate and other industries attended the luncheon and benefited from the networking opportunity while learning about WomenLEAD’s mission.

The luncheon was sponsored by Riemer & Braunstein LLP, a Boston and Burlington based law firm which has served the Route 128 real estate and business community for over 40 years from its offices in Burlington.

SPWNetwork was formed by Susan Davis, of Stoughton, and Joan Parsons Ziady, of Winchester, both of whom are partners at Riemer & Braunstein. The Network now includes over 100 women and provides a platform for professional women working in the Boston area suburbs to broaden their networks and refer business to each other.  The group intends to hold quarterly events in the area that will include networking opportunities as well as programs of interest to professional women.  For more information about the organization, please visit the SPWNetwork Group on LinkedIn or contact either Parsons (JParsons@riemerlaw.com) or Davis (SDavis@riemerlaw.com).
