At the convention, representatives from ACCC’s bankruptcy counseling services department will be on hand to discuss the industry’s most recent trends and best practices and to offer resources such as debt management and financial education. Across the country Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy filings have fallen drastically over the past year, down 13 percent. In Massachusetts, personal bankruptcy filings plummeted 18 percent in 2012, a good indicator of a recovering economy.
