A Chelmsford's Family Story of Survival

About The Talk: Author Paul Lonardo will discuss his book on a crime that occurred locally – “Caught In The Act: A Family’s Fight To Save Their Daughter From A Serial Killer.”  Five years ago in nearby Chelmsford, a 15 year-old girl was attacked by a knife-wielding serial killer (Adam “The Highway Killer” Lane) who randomly entered her home in the middle of the night.  Miraculously, parents Jeannine and Kevin McDonough were awoken, ran to their daughter’s room, and managed to subdue the intruder, who was arrested and later found to be responsible for two murders and another attack on a woman who survived her injuries.

About The Author: Paul Lonardo is the author of four non-fiction books: “Caught In The Act,” “Life With Cancer: The Lauren Terrazzano Story,” “From The Ashes,” and “Strike IX.”  He has also published two novels and numerous short stories.  Lonardo also studied screenwriting at Columbia College in Hollywood, CA.  He is currently working on his latest true crime book with Scott Hornoff, a former Rhode Island police officer detective who was falsely imprisoned.
