PRIDE PAWS @ Harrington

The students worked hard during the fall earning PAWS and the line continued through the hallways and made it to the cafeteria in December!

In September, an all-school PRIDE assembly was held where Principal LaCava reviewed the expectations for students at the Harrington School.  The main focus was the definition of PRIDE and what each letter represented.

Also introduced during the fall was the use of PRIDE PAWS. Students who show Harrington PRIDE will be given a PAW which will be hung on the wall. The goal for the school was to get a path of PAWS from the school lobby to the cafeteria. Once the students earned enough PAWS to reach the cafeteria,a school wide “reward” would be given.

The students worked hard during the fall earning PAWS and the line continued through the hallways and made it to the cafeteria in December! Mr. LaCava worked with the Harrington PRIDE Committee and came up with a reward for all students.  On December 18th, each grade level of students was brought to the cafeteria and had the chance for a “Dance Party”as a reward for showing Harrington PRIDE!!! The students (and some staff members) had a great time dancing to some fun tunes in the cafeteria as their reward!

Students are now back at work earning more PAWS for their next reward! Congratulations to all Harrington students!
