Join Us for Eye on PARCC

Eye on PARCC is a cable television show produced by the Chelmsford Public Schools in Chelmsford, Massachusetts. The purpose of the show is to prepare the community at large for the change from MCAS standardized assessment to the PARCC online assessment. The hosts include Executive Director of Technology and Information, Anne-Marie Fiore, Coordinator of English Language Arts, Dr. Linda Hirsch, and Coordinator of Mathematics, Dr. Matthew Beyranevand. They will give parents, students, teachers, and the community a look at the upcoming PARCC assessments.

The first episode of Eye on PARCC is a combination of a light-hearted look at learning about PARCC with a game show segment, as well as a commentary segment by the hosts and Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction, Dr. Kristan Rodriguez.  The Chelmsford Public Schools is participating in the PARCC field tests during the Spring of 2014.  
 
Eye on PARCC will join the current lineup of educational cable shows that combine a look inside the Chelmsford Schools on Inside CPS, along with Literacy with Linda, Math with Matthew, Spotlight on Fine Arts, and the Lions Pride.  CPS programming an be seen on the educational channel (CTM-ED) airing on Chelmsford Comcast 22 and Verizon 36 as well as online at http://www.chelmsfordtv.org
