Dennis Named Director of Community Education

Ms. Shari Dennis has been hired as the Director of Community Education in Chelmsford.  She was appointed by Superintendent of Schools Frank Tiano this week after a comprehensive search process that attracted many highly qualified candidates.  Ms. Dennis competed with 28 other candidates for the position.

A licensed educator, Ms. Dennis is a graduate of Tufts University with her Masters Degree in Education.  Previously, she had earned her undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.  Along with her educational background, Ms. Dennis has over 23 years experience working with schools and organizations as an educator, administrator, program developer, and supervisor.  She is eager to begin her tenure at Community Education in the Chelmsford Public School District.
