CHS Art Student Published in The Marble Collection Magazine

The Chelmsford Fine Arts Department is pleased to announce that CHS Art student Irena Manukian has been selected to have her work featured in The Marble Collection: Massachusetts High School Magazine of the Arts, Winter 2014 edition. Irena is in Teresa Karangioze's Honors Art Portfolio class at CHS. Artwork was selected through a juried process, and will be printed in paper form in a beautifully designed magazine and online at marblecollection.org. 

The Marble Collection, Inc. is a nonprofit organization, was founded in 2008 to enrich the Massachusetts high school community through educational literary and creative arts programming. TMC emphasizes the importance of creative cultivation as it pertains to educational achievement, social development, and collegiate and career success. It has been demonstrated that art, in all its forms, contributes to youth development.  TMC collaborates with over 160 Massachusetts secondary schools to develop and deploy arts education programs.
