Art Teachers in Chelmsford were notified this past weekend that art students at Chelmsford High School, Parker Middle School, and McCarthy Middle School earned 32 awards this year at the Boston Globe-Scholastic Art Awards!

Since 1923, The Scholastic Art Awards have offered millions of students the opportunity to display their art works for regional and national recognition. The objective of the program is to foster the confidence of young artists and to invite students to broaden their horizons while winning national recognition.  The Scholastic Art and Writing Awards are the largest and longest running programs of their kind in the country.

The teachers who have submitted work to the Globe Art Awards (listed below) have worked diligently and spent a significant amount of their own time working with students to develop their work, choose pieces for submission, and to edit and enter digital photos of student work.
