CHS Wins Five TAMY Awards For Excellence in Musical Theater!

CHS was nominated for 16 awards and garnered five trophies at this year's TAMY Gala that recognizes outstanding accomplishments in high school musicals for its production of The Phantom of the Opera.

Chelmsford High School was nominated for 16 awards and garnered five trophies at this year's TAMY Gala that recognizes outstanding accomplishments in high school musicals for its production of  The Phantom of the Opera. The show proved to be one of the biggest successes in the CHS’ many years of outstanding musicals.  It broke all attendance records with a sold out show on Saturday evening.  “The Phantom of the Opera was a huge undertaking with quite a bit of spectacle at every aspect, CHS students, as always, met that challenge.  We are truly excited and appreciative of the TAMYS for recognizing our students’ great accomplishments,” said Carl Rondina, the producer and musical director of CHS for 43 years.

The Tony-style awards celebration was held at Mt. Wachusett Community College on Sunday, May 19th, 2013. 

The following awards were received for Chelmsford High School's production of Phantom of the Opera:
