On June 12, the Palm Center in Chelmsford hosted an exhibit showcasing over 30 artworks by Chelmsford High School students.

On June 12, the Palm Center in Chelmsford hosted an exhibit showcasing over 30 artworks by Chelmsford High School students.

There was a wide variety of student artwork on display, ranging from graphite self-portraits, acrylic paintings, oil paintings, scratch art, watercolors, digital prints, and pastel paintings.

Chelmsford High School Music Teachers Carl Rondina and Kate Comeau assisted with the event, providing 10 fantastic CHS students who performed throughout the reception. These students included Caroline Bain, Emma Barker, Dorothy Chung, Michelle Liu, Amanda Lococo, Jennifer Sohn, Rebecca Sohn, Molly Stevens, and Crystal Zhu.

This was a beautiful evening for all to enjoy the wonderful artwork and performances by the students. The residents were thrilled to be able to see the student’s artwork and to listen to their beautiful voices as they sang an array of music genres and performed several violin duets.

This collaboration was made possible with the Palm Center Staff members Kim Gagnon, Christie O’Sullivan, and Frank McGuire, Chelmsford High School Art Teacher Terry Karangioze, and Chelmsford High School Music Teachers Carl Rondina and Kate Comeau.
