The Chelmsford Military Covenant will hold a rembrance ceremony for 9/11 on the Common this Saturday at 10 a.m.

 

On Wednesday, Chelmsford firefighters also honored the fallen 13 years ago in a ceremony at the central fire station on North Road (pictured).

 

Vote on Chelmsford 2014 Book

It's time to make the selection for the book Chelmsford will collectively read in 2014. Voting will be open until October 26, and the winning book will be announced at the Volunteer Reception on October 27. The choices are: "The Art Forger," by B.A. Shapiro, "The Hound of the Baskerville," by Arthur Conan Doyle and "The Namesake," by Jhumpa Lahiri. To vote for One Book Chelmsford 2014, visit the Chelmsford Public Library website.

Cheer on the Chelmsford Lions varsity football team to their first win of the 2013 season 7 p.m. tonight at Simonian Stadium where they face the Grey Ghosts of Westford Academy.

The Chelmsford Dog Association and the Chelmsford Historical Society will be holding a fair at the Barrett Byam Homestead from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday.
