This is Barry&rsquo\ ;s only local 2013 concert but it&rsquo\;s his sixth appearance at The P arish Center. Their seven foot Steinway grand (his favorite piano) and g ood acoustics make it an ideal venue. Barry has copyrighted over 300 son gs and instrumentals since he began writing in 1975. He has been compare d to Dave Frishberg\, Randy Newman and Cole Porter. Jazz and theatre pie ces are Barry&rsquo\;s biggest strengths but folk\, R&\;B\, pop and c ountry pepper his eclectic writing and performing. Barry&rsquo\;s songs have been performed live and recorded by theatre groups and solo artists from Beverly\, MA to Washington\, D.C. Cable television in Westford\, M A and radio stations in Portsmouth\, NH and Boston\, MA have featured Ba rry performing live in their studios as well as airplay of his recording s. He has given solo concerts of original music since 1980.
