A concert will be presented at Central Congregational Church, UCC, 1 Worthen St., Chelmsford on Saturday, March 2 at 3:00 p.m. Selections will include pieces by Bellini, Rossini, Mozart, Argento, and Bolcom, to name few. Donations will be accepted to benefit the Open Pantry in Lowell. A social hour will follow the concert.
The soloist will be Ms. Petra Pacaric, Mezzo-Soprano, who has performed throughout New England as a recitalist and soloist. She also performs extensively with the Boston Symphony Orchestra as a member of the Tanglewood Festival Chorus at Boston Symphony Hall, Tanglewood, and Carnegie Hall. Ms. Pacaric is a graduate of the Boston Conservatory and currently teaches voice at Phillips Exeter Academy.
The pianist will be Rebecca Plummer, one of Boston’s leading free-lance artists. She is both a solo pianist and accompanist who has played for the Boston Ballet Orchestra, Alea III and Pro Arte Chamber Orchestra. She is a leading synthesizer player playing in the pit orchestra of touring Broadway shows that perform at the Wang Center, the Shubert Theater, the North Shore Music Theatre and the Colonial Theater. Ms. Plummer is currently a resident accompanist at the University of Massachusetts in Lowell, on the faculty at Phillips Exeter Academy in Exeter, NH, The Manchester Community Music School in Manchester, NH and maintains a private studio in her home.
