More About McCarthy Middle School
McCarthy Middle School used to be one of Chelmsford's high schools, which is why it boasts a track and athletic fields. But today McCarthy is one of Chelmsford's two middle schools. The school provides education for about 940 students from grades five to eight and is one of the largest middle schools in the Merrimack Valley. The McCarthy staff is dedicated to creating a safe and secure learning environment to help all students achieve their academic and social goals.
