Chelmsford area Crafters & Vendors Wanted for Westford Rotary Blues'N'Brews and Pig'N'Pepper Fest in August 2012
Several spaces are still open for crafts and retail vendors at the Blues'N'Brews Festival on Saturday, August 18; and the Pig'N'Pepper Fest on Sunday, August 19. The two back-to-back events are presented by Westford Rotary Club, and will be held at Nashoba Valley Ski Area in Westford. Proceeds from both days go to charity.
The “Blues'N'Brews Festival,” an annual event in its 11th year, draws an average of 2500 people for six hours of “Live Blues, Craft Brews and BBQ.” The beverage tasting features 30-40 different microbreweries and a special table of traditional “cask-conditioned” ales, as well as wine and hard cider.
“Pig'N'Pepper Fest” is a family-oriented festival with BBQ, live music, vendor booths, pony rides, petting zoo animals, antique cars, a mini-Farmer's Market, Veggie Derby, and lots of activities, crafts and games for all ages. A new feature is the “Food on a Stick” pavilion, where people can sample foods from a variety of local restaurants and food manufacturers. There's also a BBQ Grilling Contest, as well as a Pepper Decorating contest, and Hot Sauce Tasting. The headline performance by the world-renowned "Up With People" group is expected to be a highlight of the event.
July 31 is the deadline for vendor/Crafters applications. Call 978-772-3612 or visit www.BluesNBrews.com or www.PigNPepperFest.org for more info and vendor application form.
