Book Buddies: Pairing elementary readers with teen volunteers for one-on-one reading fun.
Book Buddies is a new program for children in grades K-4 and will run as a drop in program in Spring 2013.
Book Buddies is a fun literacy program for elementary school students. Children will be paired with a trained and experienced teen volunteer for a fun and positive reading experience. This program provides an opportunity for children to practice reading, receive one-on-one attention and have fun with books.
