Library volunteers run this Beginners English Conversation Circle for adults interested in improving their English speaking skills. A more advanced Circle meets weekly on Tuesdays at 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. Both programs meet in the conference room on the lower level of the main library.

Chelmsford Public Library offers a wide variety of books, audio CDs, audio books, e-books and movies. Patrons may use the free wireless internet, curl up in one of the quiet rooms with a good book or sit in the courtyard on sunny days to read a magazine. The library also has a room dedicated to local history and a room filled with large print publications.
