Today is the last day to register online for one of the most inspiring events that takes place in this town.

Now entering its 3rd year this Sunday, the Free to Breathe 5k Run/Walk to benefit the movement to defeat lung cancer will start at Harrington Elementary School, 120 Richardson Road - Chelmsford, MA.  All proceeds go to the National Lung Cancer Partnership, an organization of physicians and researchers working together solely to "decrease deaths due to lung cancer and help patients live longer and better through research, awareness and advocacy."  They started the Free to Breathe mission in 2006 with the 5k run/walk series and have admirably continued those efforts, and more, ever since. 

Entering my 3rd year as well, the event is simply one of those things that make you feel good inside, and literally every single person there is inspiring. 

Today is the last day to sign up online and save $5 and also guarantee yourself a t-shirt as a limited amount will be available on Sunday. $20 for adults and $10 for kids under 10, goes up to $25 and $15 respectively for race day registration.  No amount that should deter one from participating in such a great event, but five bucks is five bucks.
