Chelmsford Hockey to host Try Hockey For Free Day, November 3rd

CHA Try Hockey For Free Day

The Chelmsford Hockey Association is hosting Try Hockey For Free Day on Saturday, November 3rd from 12-2pm at the Chelmsford Forum.   The first 40 boys and girls, ages 4 - 9, who register on-line for the event will receive complimentary USA Hockey jerseys and goodie bags upon their arrival.

Try Hockey For Free Day participants will receive on-ice instruction from CHA coaches on the fundamentals of hockey, including how to skate, pass, shoot, and stick-handle. There will also be on-ice games and opportunities for skaters to free-skate.

In addition to registering, participants should plan on bringing, at a minimum, a helmet (bicycle helmets are acceptable), winter gloves, skates, and a hockey stick.  CHA will make rental skates available at no cost to skaters, courtesy of the Facilities Management Corporation.

Chelmsford Hockey has some loaner equipment and hockey sticks available. Contact Scott Millin at president@chelmsfordhockey.com for more information.

If you think your child might be interested in giving the game of hockey a try, why not register them for Try Hockey for Free Day?
