8th Annual Grace Race less than 5 months away

Hello Chelmsford! The Grace Race team is preparing for the 8th Annual Grace Race, to be held Saturday October 1st at 10AM. Please consider joining us to run (USATF-certified 5-miler), walk (5K fitness walk), or volunteer (we always are looking for more people to help on the course).

Prize money to top 2 male&female Overall and Master's finishers, trophies to top finishers in each age group, team competition, great refreshments, a big raffle, free child care and kids' activities, and a safe bag check-in area for all runners and walkers are some of the features.  All proceeds go to construction of a school and vocational training center in Naivasha, a town in the Rift Valley of Kenya where many of the world's finest marathon runners live and train. Come join us, have some fun, and help to improve lives and bring life-sustaining skills to needy kids in Kenya.

You can sign up to run, walk, or volunteer at www.gracerace.org. Please tell your friends and help us make this the biggest and best Grace Race ever! Thank you, and stay tuned ...

I forgot to mention that back in March, Jared Hamaoui, an intern at the Chelmsford Patch, did a nice article about the work we're doing in Kenya See
