The deadline for entering photos into the Chelmsford Cultural Council's photography contest is Saturday. The contest will be held at the Chelmsford Public Library during Winterfest, Feb. 3-4.

The three contest categories are professional, amateur, and student (through high school). You must be a Chelmsford resident and only photos taken after Jan. 1, 2011, are eligible. Jan. 21 is the deadline to submit photos.

Each photograph must have one dimension of at least 8 inches (ex: 6x9, 8X10, etc.). All prints should be matted or dry mounted onto a mat board - no wood or metal frames.

Photos will be judged on composition, general appeal, and technical merit.
Cash prizes will be awarded on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 3-4 and the photos will remain up through end of February.
