Just up Route 3, the Merrimack Patch reported last week that the price of lobster is now the lowest it's been since the 1970s.
That got us to thinking -- how cheap is Lobster around here? Well, during our search on July 14, at its lowest price it was equal to the price of ground beef!
Please keep in mind the prices we found were for live lobster, not lobster meat, which costs significantly more, sometimes as much as six to seven times more.
