Today is a July 4, Independence Day. Here is a look at what is open and closed today.

1. Federal, state and town offices are closed. All your town officials will be busy marching in the parade.

2. Businesses: Varies. Moe's Southwest Grille is closed today; the Java Room is open 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. If you know of any other businesses open or closed today, tell us in the comments.

3. The gym: Many gyms are open today but will close early. Best Fitness will close at 3 p.m.

4. Mail: No mail will be delivered today. Mail delivery will resume tomorrow.

5. Lowell Regional Transit Authority: The LRTA will not be in service today.
